We captured these beautiful, creative family portraits at South Seas Island Resort on Captiva Island. This was such a fun family to work with! There was 17 all together and their story is really special to hear.

They had been planning a family beach vacation on Captiva Island with their mother. Details were being made and the trip was set. Unfortunately their dear mother passed before the trip arrived. In memory, they knew they wanted professional family photos on the beach to celebrate the beautiful life their mother lived. They had some beach family portrait ideas, and it was easy to run with their ideas. We love how the girls even decided to have their toes in the water for a couple of portraits. We love the sunset portraits at the end, where they are all wearing a shirt with their mother and grandmothers picture on it, in memory of her.
